Blessings to you on this Friday. As another week comes to a close, some of us rejoice over answered prayers, while others are still waiting and crying out to God. If your heart has been heavy, your prayers have seemed unanswered, or you feel weary from the waiting, I want to encourage you today: God hears your cry. He has not forgotten you, and He is working even when you cannot yet see it.

🪴Prayer When Crying Out
Psalm 34:17-18 - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
There are seasons when our prayers become more than words. They become cries from the depths of our hearts. We cry out for healing, for restoration, for provision, for direction, for our families, and for breakthroughs that seem long overdue.
In these moments of despair, when our hearts are heavy and our spirits crushed, it can feel like we are walking through a long, shadowed valley. It's in these times that crying out to God isn't just a cry of desperation, but a profound act of faith. By turning to God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and trust in His unfailing love and compassion.
Throughout the Bible, God responded to those who cried out to Him. He heard the Israelites in their suffering. He answered Hannah's desperate prayer for a child. Blind Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus and received his sight. Their circumstances were different, but they all had one thing in common: they placed their hope in the Lord.
God’s response to our cries may not always be immediate, or in the form we expect, but He promises to be close to the brokenhearted. This closeness is not a mere sentiment; it's a profound reality. In your tears, in your pain, God is there. He understands your heartache more than anyone else can. He sees your tears, and He hears your cries. And in His perfect time and way, He will deliver, heal, and restore.
As you navigate through these challenging times, hold onto the promise that God is with you. Let your cries be a catalyst for a deeper relationship with Him.
