Matthew 7:7-8

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

This powerful verse from Jesus' own lips is a beacon of hope and encouragement for all of us. It's a reminder that no matter what challenges we face, no matter how daunting the obstacles may seem, we have the power to overcome them through faith and perseverance.

Yes, there are seasons in life when it feels as though nothing is moving. We pray for opportunities, healing, provision, restoration, or direction, yet the answer seems delayed. In those moments, discouragement can begin to creep into our hearts.

Even when things don’t happen right away, we keep trying, knowing that every knock brings us closer to the door opening. Ask, seek, knock, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.

The enemy wants you to stop asking. He wants you to stop seeking. He wants you to believe that the door will never open. But God is often working behind the scenes long before we see the answer. Through Jesus Christ, doors can open that no one can shut. The Holy Spirit can guide you to opportunities you never imagined and provide solutions you never considered.

Are you afraid to ask today? Are you holding back on your faith? You are a child of God. Trust Him at His word. The Scriptures encourage us to go to God with all of our needs. Jesus said, “You have not because you ask not.” (James 4:2).
